A Fresh Begining

Change your thoughts, change your future. No matter what your definition of success, changing negative thoughts to positive ones can help you succeed. If it’s financial freedom you want, you won’t achieve it by naysayer thoughts such as, “I’ll never amount to anything.”

A mental shift from negative thinking to positive thinking must include goals and plans for the future and a pushing away from anything and everything that could be an obstacle to your success.

There has to be endings to create new beginnings. An old year ends and a New Year begins, full of promises of change and new experiences. Mitch Albom, author of “The Five People You Meet in Heaven,” wrote: “All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.”

Many people mark New Year, birthdays or some other milestone in their lives as a time to begin living better.

We all want the short time we have on this earth to be great and we know there are ways we can change to make our lives better.

Plus, we want to make a mark in the world so that others will remember us with love and fondness.

Letting go of anything can be painful. You may need to let go of a person or an idea that you’ve held on to for years, but now know that they’re negative forces in your life and you must let go or suffer consequences.

Before you take action to rid yourself of yesterday’s baggage, you must be willing to accept the changes that your new beginning will bring. You need to open up to the possibilities that lie ahead and not hang on to the bad memories and actions of the past.
