Mental Health Week

It is Mental Health Awareness Week 10-16 May 2021, and as such our focus is on the mental health of ourselves and others. Why not join the fight to get more help to more people in need?

The truth is we should be looking after our mental health every day, noticing what is happening and dealing with it, asking for help when we need it.

mental health - it is everyones responsibility

Getting effective help has been problematic due to the restrictions placed upon us, and yet with modern technology there is no need to suffer anymore. Access to help such as Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistics and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies are now more easilly found.

The recent pandemic continues to take its toll on the mental health of many sectors of society, from children to adults and seniors and yet help can be made available online, and now in centres around the country.

Now would be a great time to look at yourself, and those around you, family, friends and those who you work with and notice how they are feeling and have them seek the help that is available.

If your feeling anxious, worried or stressed at the moment the please get in touch. You can contact me, or a number of charities like Mind.org and The Mental Health Foundation, who offer help. The amount of 'self help' that is accessable has increased greatly.

Mental health is not an illness, it's not hidden anymore, it’s on the front pages of newspapers and magazines; its now highlighted in Health and Safety at Work practices; ; it’s on the mind of parents anf grand parents. Even politicians are taking note of the issues.

Any stigma is now something of the past, and not anything to be ashamed of, contact help in your area, and take back control.

Its time we all came together and supported each other, and those who need extra assistance with issues. Is this not a better society we can all help create for future generations?
